Now having spent over a decade in “the industry” in one form or another, Kate Killet got her start at the young age of sixteen as a blogger & photographer for MuchMusic. From there she spent time working as an A&R associate for Sony Records, also working with Pirates Blend Records and Buzz Records. Now Killet’s focus is on her work as the creative director of music & arts nonprofit POSI VIBEZ. She’s also a photographer & writer who has contributed to a multitude of print and online outlets such as VICE, NOW Magazine & A.Side. She has served on the Polaris Music Prize and the Prism Prize juries both since 2016. She’s often covered in glitter and can be spotted making noise in her punk project KLIT KULT.
