Over the past decade, Savannah’s experiences in the music industry have seen her on both sides of the curtain. After completing a degree in music at Concordia University, she started a string of original music projects, the most recent being alt-pop-rock outfit SAVVIE. Noticing a knack for the behind-the-scenes dealings of the industry, she began working at live venues and events, and assisting other artists with their careers. This led to a job at Music BC, where she managed various artist development programs, events, grants and educational workshops for over 8 years. She now continues the trend of artist development at Tiny Kingdom Music, which she co-founded in 2015 with business partner Meagan Davidson, providing management services to emerging artists across Canada. Her musical and industry knowledge has been called upon as a juror for the JUNO Awards, FACTOR, Prism Prize, SOCAN Songwriting Prize and BreakOut West, and as a contributor for Beatroute Magazine.
