Big Step is another product of a Stak and aRENYE experiment. Made in the Spring of 2022, the duo locked in for another session at MOON Media on Queen St., to make what would then become a summer favourite in Halifax, summer 2022. Channelling their frequencies to fuse African rhythms, with stories told from a Nigerian perspective, and then present it to a Halifax community, felt seamless, challenging and most of all, inspiring.
